Ingredients

  • 5 Orange slices with peel dried (approximately 1 orange)
  • 1 tsp Green tea leaves
  • 1 Cinnamon stick
  • ½ tsp Vanilla extract optional
  • 1-2 tsp Honey to taste (optional)

Instructions

  • Thoroughly wash the orange and cut it into small slices, discarding the ends.
  • Arrange slices in a single layer inside the basket of an air fryer. Put the basket into the air fryer. Turn on the dehydrator setting and set the temperature to 175°F for approximately 30 minutes. Flip the slices and cook for an additional 20 minutes or until dry. Set them aside.
  • Fill a pot with water and bring it to a boil. Turn the heat off and add the green tea leaves and cinnamon. Steep for 1-2 minutes.
  • If adding vanilla extract, add it now. Then strain the mixture into your mug. Add dried slices and steep for an additional 5 minutes.
  • Remove the orange from the tea and add honey, if needed.
  • Enjoy!

Notes

Since oranges are juicy, remove excess juice with a paper towel before placing it in the air fryer or oven.
You can dry more peel than you need and store them for later use.
