Cinnamon Orange Peel Tea is a delicious and healthy way to warm up your day. This drink combines the antioxidant-rich green tea with vitamin C-packed orange and the warming spice of cinnamon for an all-natural health and wellness beverage.
5Orange slices with peeldried (approximately 1 orange)
1tspGreen tea leaves
1Cinnamon stick
½tspVanilla extractoptional
1-2tspHoneyto taste (optional)
Instructions
Thoroughly wash the orange and cut it into small slices, discarding the ends.
Arrange slices in a single layer inside the basket of an air fryer. Put the basket into the air fryer. Turn on the dehydrator setting and set the temperature to 175°F for approximately 30 minutes. Flip the slices and cook for an additional 20 minutes or until dry. Set them aside.
Fill a pot with water and bring it to a boil. Turn the heat off and add the green tea leaves and cinnamon. Steep for 1-2 minutes.
If adding vanilla extract, add it now. Then strain the mixture into your mug. Add dried slices and steep for an additional 5 minutes.
Remove the orange from the tea and add honey, if needed.

Notes
Since oranges are juicy, remove excess juice with a paper towel before placing it in the air fryer or oven.You can dry more peel than you need and store them for later use.
